Up and Coming Events

New Year to Early Summer 2012

Fire – a perpetual favourite – numerous methods of creating fire and using it to perform various tasks. From rubbing sticks to near magical ignition methods, the uses of different fuels and how to get the best from them. Clearing away after your fire so you “Leave No Trace”.

Tree & Plant Lore – Identification, uses and folklore. How to spot the flora, how we can make use of it for food, medication and a number of other resources.

Edge Craft – Primarily aimed at Knife skills, we’ll study how to safely use your knife, how to sharpen and maintain it and even some ideas on making your own with its own sheath. We’ll also look at using the Saw and the Axe as portable Bushcraft tools.

Courses run tuesday, friday and weekends on request.
